I love lip and cheek stains because they are key to effortless routines in the morning for me. Picking out a blush and then picking out a lipstick that matches it is kind of a pain, and then I always have to remember to throw the lip color in my pocket to touch up later. If you pick a lip stain, there is no reapplication! And if I kiss my baby, she won’t end up with yucky lipstick all over her face, which is  always a huge plus in my book. I also don’t like leaving my coffee cups with bright goo all over them either, which can be avoided with a stain.

If you don’t know what a lip stain is, essentially it is a product that is applied to the lips that sets to matte, dry, finish. It ends up looking like you are wearing your natural lips, but your natural lip color is totally amazing rather than dull and colorless like my natural lip color. It is a very glamorous look and very low maintenance since they are meant to be long lasting, and you won’t need to reapply throughout the day.

There are currently 8 colors available and the three that I have are below!

jitterbug, waltz, jive

jitterbug, waltz, jive
They are very appropriately named after happy dances because they are so easy and great to use, that you will be doing a happy dance when you wear them. No joke.
This swatch looks a little weird because it’s not taken with a flash, but here, you can see Jive swatched on the left, and Clinique’s Chubby Stick in Two Ton Tomato on the right. They literally match exactly, so I’ve been wearing the Clinique over top of this stain whenever I wear it for a little bit of a glossy boost.
I’ve really been enjoying these and I highly recommend them!
