It is the season for dry, cracked lips! I wanted to share with you a day lip product and a night lip product that I have been using to keep moisture on my pucker. You could certainly use these any time of the day or night, but I’m just sharing how I use them!
Clark’s Botanicals Lip Tint- This company is rather well known for their lip gloss, and the company has a cool back story that I won’t get into here. I have the Alexandra Rose color and it is so nice to wear. It is very sheer, with just a slight tint of color. The formula is very thin so it doesn’t get goopy or sticky on my lips. It feels great and smells great. It contains shea butter, aloe leaf extract, jojoba, sweet almond oil, and marine collagen microsphere to hydrate, soothe, and protect lips. Vanilla planifolia and jasmine make it smell and taste delicious. Can’t say enough good things about this! At $19 it’s a bit steep but a little dab’ll do ya so this will last you forever.
Josie Maran Argan High Gloss Lip Quench- I’ve been putting this on before bed every night lately and I wake up with the softest lips! Like I said, this could be used any time of the day, but due to the thicker consistency of this, I prefer night time use. It is 100% natural, has jojoba oil to condition the lips and prevent dryness and chapping, and buriti oil to promote skin nutrition and lock in moisture. Argan oil is kind of the “new thing” when it comes to hair and skin products in the last year or so, but it really is quite effective. This gloss is $16 but it makes my lips feel much better than when I use a cheap Chapstick. They are very soft and hydrated in the morning, and that says a lot! My lips are usually pretty dry and rough and sometimes they peel where the inside of my lip meets the outside (you know that part? Whatever it’s called?) Yeah, this stuff is great!

What are your favorite glosses? I have many but for practical purposes these have been my lifesavers as of late.

These were both provided by PR for consideration, but opinions represented are honest and my own.
