We were recently given the opportunity to try a product by First Aid Beauty- it is their cult classic product of their line- Ultra Repair Cream Intense Therapy.  Here are their product claims according to their website:

This Ultra Repair Cream is a thick, rich, emollient product that hydrates deep down with exceptional penetration. This cream is for anyone with severely dry, scaly skin due to harsh winter weather, aggressive cosmetic treatments, or any of the following conditions: atopic dermatitis, irritant eczema, allergic eczema, and keratosis pilaris. With the help of colloidal oatmeal, shea butter, soothing eucalyptus oil, and ceramides, Ultra Repair Cream provides immediate relief and visible improvement for distressed skin. The FAB Antioxidant Booster defends skin from free radical damage and the cream deeply hydrates with exceptional penetration, providing immediate relief and visible improvement. The cream is immediately absorbed into the skin and can be used all over the body and on the face.

If you read up on their company, you’ll that they are yet another company that keeps the icky things out of their products: they are free from parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances and dyes, phthalates, GMOs and triclosan.

So what did I think?

I used this on my face several times as an extra emollient cream after doing acne and clay masks.  I thought it really sunk into my skin and absorbed quickly and gave me a huge boost of moisture when I needed it most.  I also felt that when I woke up my skin felt extra soft and moisturized.  For me, I think I will be using this a lot more as winter comes and the air gets more dry.  I think my next order of business is to try it as a hand cream and a foot cream.  It’s moisturizing enough that it should work well on the dry, cracked skin there.
This product is a win for me for my dry skin days!  Have any of you tried anything by the First Aid Beauty line?
Yours in Beauty,
Justina
