Jessica recently reviewed these here and shortly after I was given the opportunity to try these as well. The lip glosses are tiny and come in the cutest little packaging. As you can see, the one here has little gold flakes in it. Unfortunately, they don’t translate on to your lips that way (well maybe that’s not such a bad thing- I don’t know how gold flake lips would look, probably gross). There are different colors on their website that you can check out at the link above, none of which are all that pigmented. They go on rather sheer, but do give a nice little sheen of color that is a step up from my natural lip color.
So what’s so great about this gloss? It really smooths out my lips and gets into the little lines and crevices. My lips have never felt smoother than when I wear this. They do contain aloe and vitamin E as their smoothing and soothing ingredients and after wearing this I can definitely tell that my lips feel healthier. Some of the other formulas on their website have plumping agents in them too!
Fresh SUGAR lip products, where have you been all my life? I can’t believe I ever settled for Burt’s Bees or Blistex after trying this product. No joke, best lip balm out there. I tried the Birthday Duo shades from Sephora, which included the plain lip treatment and the Rose. The plain one has a citrusy scent and slight flavor that reminds me of lemons, and the Rose has a slight rosy tint which is buildable depending on how much you apply. The lip treatments all have an SPF of 15 which is a definite plus. It is proven to provide 6 hours of significant moisture for soft, supple, and youthful lips. It contains sugar (natural humectant to prevent moisture loss), meadowfoam and black currant seed oils (nourishing oils), and grapeseed polyphenols (to protect, smooth, and soften).
