I was recently challenged by Rimmel to create a look that combined Rimmel London’s makeup with my own heritage.  I have a mixed background including French, Swiss, Dutch, German, Norwegian and Native American.  For this challenge, I chose to celebrate my Native American roots.

To achieve this look, I used Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer, Lasting Finish Foundation in Ivory, Natural Bronzer in Sunlight, Match Perfection Blush in Medium, as well as neutral and brown shades from their eyeliner and eyeshadow lines along with a nude lip.

I concentrated on contouring my cheekbones, bronzing my face, and keeping the look as natural and sunkissed as possible.  I wore some of my favorite beaded and wood jewelry to tie my look together.  I had a feather for my hair as well, and I braided my hair.
Here are some pictures of what I came up with!

A very natural look with some tribal jewelry!  Do you like my co-blogger’s flowery shower curtain?

Here you get a great shot of my hair feather!  I placed this in my braid with a bobby pin.

I would not normally wear so much jewelry at once but I kind of like the way it looks!  What do you think?

This was a super fun challenge!  It was really hard to choose what ethnicity I wanted to go for, but I’m glad I chose my Native American background to channel.  What would you choose for a challenge?
Yours in Beauty,
Justina

Wow you look so pretty! I had no idea you were part Native but you really brought those features out with your makeup/jewelry in these photos. Good job!
