We have 3 lip shades to bring you today in swatches and reviews! The company is Junkie Cosmetics which is an up and coming company in the beauty industry specializing in lip gloss and cosmetics bags. They currently have 10 luxurious shades to choose from and they are perfect for wearing alone or over a lipstick shade.
The three shades we tried were It Girl, Gold Digger, and Trophy Wife. To view all of the shades up close take a look at their lipgloss link. These retail for $16 and are .2fl oz.
I had to share the brush applicator that comes with these because I love it so much. Rather than the doe foot applicator that comes with many lip glosses these days, these lipglosses come with a nice little brush applicator. I hate doe foot applicators because if I layer the lip gloss over a lipstick, I always feel that the doe foot absorbs the lipstick color, but this brush is easy to wipe off and clean.
Here are the shades as they look on our lips. Justina’s natural lip color is a very pale pink. Jessica’s natural lip color is a muted mauve/berry.We swatched them on bare lips to give you the best idea of how they look on their own.
Trophy Wife is described as:
A warm, neutral shade of peach with subtle shimmer for barely there, shiny lips.
Justina felt this color very nicely amped up her natural lip color with a little bit of sparkle. This color would be super fun to wear on its own or layered over a lipstick.
Gold Digger is described as:
A golden shimmery tan that will brighten your lips.
Jessica really liked this color as well. It is a very wearable color. It goes on nearly sheer with some flecks of gold glitter.
It Girl is described as:
A luminous golden rose with high shine and sparkle.
Justina felt that this lip color was absolutely beautiful on its own. The gloss goes on very true to color from the tube to the lips. Jessica felt this was a super smooth soft pretty color. The application brush is amazing and this felt so creamy on her lips. The color is buildable as well and has a high gloss finish.
How did we feel about the formula? Junkie Cosmetics claims their gloss to be the perfect formula- smooth and shimmery, not sticky or flakey. We would absolutely agree. These are the least sticky lip glosses I’ve ever tried. They feel so luxurious and silky on. The product has no scent or flavor and goes on very smooth. It Girl has a ton of shimmer and even as the glossy feel goes away after a few hours, the shimmer is still on the lips. The formula is thin rather than thick and goopy and would be the perfect addition to your makeup routine whether you want to wear it alone or over a lipstick.

I can’t wait to see what Junkie Cosmetics comes out with in the future. We know that they are working on releasing several additional products including eye shadow, lipstick, and blush, however we don’t have any details on those at this time. One thing we DO have the DL on?
A sneak peak of a not-yet-released color- Beach Bunny, a gorgeous, rich coral. Yep, that’s right it hasn’t come out yet, but YOU might get the chance to WIN one of these luxurious lip glosses!
