Jessica and I got to go to Lush in Seattle! It was a fun trip to their store and we got to check out a lot of their goodies. Word to the wise though- if you are a product junkie like we are it’s not worth splurging a ton there in one trip. I always have 5-6 cleansers going at any one time and rotate them weekly or bi-weekly depending on my skin’s needs and my mood on any given day. Lush’s products are fresh and have an expiration date, so stocking up on loads of them isn’t a great idea.
I was told that Lush was really generous at giving out samples, but this particular store was pretty stingy. I was able to try one sample of a face wash in a tiny little tester jar. I can’t even recall the name off the top of my head, but frankly, I wasn’t a fan of the mess it made in the (hotel) sink. If I was at home I would have been super annoyed that it looked like a science experiment went down the drain after using this. It did leave my skin feeling pretty good, but for me, it’s not worth trashing my bathroom over a good cleanser.
One product that was a winner for me was Grease Lightning. I got a 1.5 oz bottle for $12.95, which was the perfect size at the perfect price.
