Throughout the years of trying beauty products, I find that I reach for the same products and types of products over and over. If you’ve been a reader for a while, you’ve seen many of these products featured over and over. You’ve probably come to expect that I’ll feature certain brands more often than others and lots of more natural and high end brands. I absolutely love trying new products so it’s rare that I would repurchase the exact same thing more than once. When I do, you know it’s good! Here are my top five favorite staples and repurchases.

My favorite earrings are from Baublebar!

A medium coverage CC cream or foundation with skincare benefits: Just about every day, I wear a medium/full coverage foundation or CC cream. I have developed a love for It Cosmetics CC+ and everything I use I compare to it. It is definitely a holy grail item for me. I wear the light shade in the winter and the medium in the summer. I love that you can usually find this at a steal in a QVC set. Sometimes they even sell the jumbo size! Osmosis CC Cream has also been a recent favorite that I know I will repurchase. I’ve been mixing it with the Clinique BIY drops to create a custom color for myself. I have really bad dermatitis right now on my face so the skincare benefits are very necessary!

Medium/full coverage concealer that doesn’t get stuck in fine lines: Under my eyes I get dark circles and around my nose I get redness. Most days of the week I use a concealer in conjunction with my foundation routine. I developed a major love for bareMinerals Bare Skin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer a while back and have bought two different shades so I would always have a match. I also love Tarte Shape Tape and own two different shades of that. Over the years I’ve tried lots of different concealers and I would say these are two of the best I’ve found that won’t crease or settle in fine lines but still give me the coverage I’m looking for.

Translucent setting powder: Every day that I wear makeup I like to set it with a translucent powder. I don’t “bake” my makeup but I do like something that gives me an airbrushed, soft focus finish. My most repurchased powders are the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed, Cover FX Perfect Setting Powder, and Clinique Transparency Neutral Powder. It takes me forever to get through a powder, but I’ve owned more than one of all of these before. I’m currently working on the last of the Cover FX for a while!

Black mascara with drama: I’m not much of a daytime mascara vs nighttime mascara person. If I’m wearing it all I want full on drama, deep black lashes that are long and curly and thick. I’ve tried a few over the years that I’ve been really impressed with but this last time I ran out of mascara I went back to a tried and true favorite, It Cosmetics Superhero mascara. It’s a really fantastic formula that ticks all the boxes for me.

Highlighter that doesn’t showcase my pores: I love a good highlighter and I’m always purchasing them! One of my favorite formulas that doesn’t put my pores on full display is the Custom Enhancer Drops in Blossom by Cover FX. I haven’t repurchased a singular shade at this point but I have gotten more and more of these as they’ve come out because they are amazing to me. They can be mixed in with moisturizer or foundation and they can also be applied over makeup on their own. This is the most beautiful of highlighters in my book!

That’s about it for my staples and repurchases. It’s funny how as I pulled these items out to photograph them, I felt like I was packing to go somewhere for the weekend- all the things I would never be without!
